When eating at Hiroshi you feel like you are at the priciest, top Japanese restaurant in New York... and what's crazy is it is fully included in the all-inclusive at Hotel Mousai!  We went twice during our stay and could have gone again.  Definitely make a reservation in advance!

Everything at Hiroshi is impeccable from the sushi to the black cod to the cocktails. I recommend sharing a number of small plates and sushi/sashimi dishes so you can try as many items as possible!

Service was a bit slow but we were on vacation so it didn't matter.  They also often feature live music (including an electric violin!)

I have to admit, getting sushi in Mexico is an odd culture clash. But Hiroshi does a great job of using fresh fish and and an assortment of cooked foods to provide great tastes and something for all at the table.  I recommend sitting outside if available. The inside is a little cramped and loud.

A couple of demerits - they have a small hibachi grill that emits a gas/charcoal smell that was unappealing to me, but others might be cool with it.  I am a sushi rice snob (so take next comment with a grain...) and I found the Nigiri rice tasteless and the grains to be overly compressed.

Stunning venue.... food was just OK.  Popcorn shrimp was the best thing we had.  Lobster roll was so-so (tempura lobster was over cooked).  Black cod perfectly cooked but very fishy.  Great cocktails; expensive sake.

Contemporary Asian Cuisine at its finest! Hiroshi's is located in the beautifully appointed Hotel Mousai in the Garza Blanca Preserve in Puerto Vallarta. Graced with its stunning granite bar with sweeping views of the ocean and contemporary decor, will delight all of your senses! Magnificent! They say it's the best fusion of Asian cuisine this side of the Pacific! And it was!!

They offer a wide variety of menu options including their superb Sushi, Sashimi , Nigiri, Robata, Lobster rolls, Poke, Vegetable Dumplings, Black Cod, Tofu Steak and even a Mexican Roll that is a unique blend of Japanese and Mexican cuisine. AND so many more options!

Pricey but worth it! They serve a variety of Sakes made from Koji, water and fermented rice that adds to your truly authentic dining experience! And a full bar including traditional Mexican Tequila's! Seating fills up fast so make reservations! Casual resort-chic attire and all seating overlooks the beautiful Banderas Bay! Get there at sunset because you will be in for spectacular ocean views!

Superb service and everyone is treated like a VIP!

Excellent customer service.  Sushi was not.  Rice is hot/very warm with the rolls.  Tried a bit of everything and was very disappointed.   Was hyped up about the place from the staff.  Only good sushi we had was the seared tuna with sesame seeds.  The vegan chocolate cake was really good also.  Other than that everything else was not what I'd expect out of a 5 diamond resort.   Their spicy tuna hand roll was cubed tuna pieces drizzled in some mayo and barely any hint of spice.  The rice was warm and the cucumber overpowers the tuna.  Also a lot of the sashimi had tendons and were chewy.   Bad cuts of sushi/wrong cuts.  I was even disappointed with the hamachi.   I've never had bad hamachi.
